CPU governors, GPU tuning, thermal profiles, and battery optimizers that adjust kernel parameters Android doesn't normally expose. Useful for squeezing more performance out of older devices or extending battery life on newer ones.
Aggressive overclocking or thermal mods can cause overheating or instability, but most performance modules work within safe limits. Stick to well-reviewed modules and avoid pushing clock speeds beyond your chipset's rated specifications.
It depends on the module. CPU governors and thermal tweaks that prioritise performance over efficiency will increase battery drain. Battery-focused modules do the opposite. Read each module's description to understand the trade-off.
Download the module ZIP from its page on the Androidacy repository, then open your root manager app (Magisk Manager, KernelSU, or APatch) and install the ZIP from there. Reboot your device to activate the module.
